Night operation of the windmills in the North Allegheny Windpower Project has been halted following discovery of a dead Indiana bat under one of the turbines, an official with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said Monday.

Windmills are a great way to generate electricity without harming the environment. I think it's a bit obscured to shut down the windmills at night just because one bat was found dead under one of the turbines of the windmill. That's like stopping commercial flights because birds have been sucked in the turbines of the planes.
