It is comforting to know that our Hollywood stars continue to use their expertise to educate us on protecting the environment. As if hearing from Barbara Streisand weren't enough (see Post on this Blog of 9/25/05, under the "Global Warming" CATEGORY, right-hand side of this page), we are now fortunate to have Cameron Diaz as a teacher as well. This, from the AP today: |
STANFORD, Calif.
Cameron Diaz surprised a class at Stanford University when the "Charlie's Angels" star helped lead a lecture on environmentally friendly design.
Diaz's appearance Thursday came as part of taping for an mtvU program called "Stand-In" in which celebrities teach a class. On Tuesday, Madonna lectured students at New York's Hunter College.
Given that I am a lawyer specializing in environmental law, I am waiting for MTV to contact me about teaching a movie-making class.
